Monday Morning Armchair Quarterback ~ Divisionals Week

Did you see the ending to the Cowboys/Packers game? Holy cow! Or should I say, holy last second really freaking long field goal, Batman!

The quotes practically wrote themselves, too. Good grief, the announcers were on fire.

Let me show you some of those funnies.

There are Honorable Mentions from last week–like always–so…here we go…

“Showed he was coming and failed to get picked up.”

Maybe they didn’t want the mess? Or they thought he was taken?

“He toned up well.”

After being rejected, he did some work. He’s feeling much happier now.

Okay, time for the Quotes of the Week. These are a real rip. Always!

“A little loose with the ball.”

That’s how they like it.

 “They’re playing soft.”

Gotta work up to the hard stuff. Can’t start hard all of the time.

“He brings speed to the tight end position.”

In this case, he wanted fast. Next time he’ll want slow.

“Might find a crease and make a little pick-up.”

He does like those super tight ends.

“He keeps it up.”

Because he found a nice crease to pick up.

And now for the Doozy of the Week. Oh my…

This one is all kinds of wrong. Just all kinds.

“He’s got weapons all around.”

Of course he does…he’s running the toy shop. He can  have whatever weapon he wants.

Special Mention!!

I’m going to start this next year if Joe Buck continues to commentate.

The Joe Buck Boner.

Every week, Joe Buck picks a player that is his favorite. He might say he’s equal opportunity, but come on. He really likes his favorites.

This week the Joe Buck Boner goes to Aaron Rodgers. We heard more about his tight end, nice arm and great ability than any other player. Thank you, Joe Buck.

Thanks for reading and please check out the other posts from the rest of the week.

Enjoy!
