Monday Morning Armchair Quarterback ~ Pro Bowl

I love the pro bowl. I really do. It’s a chance to see all those guys who might not get along have to. It’s also fun to see what amounts to a fantasy team come to life. It’s pretty rad. Plus, I got to see quite a few of my Bengals on the field. Grin.

The pro bowl also was the site of many funnies. But let’s hit last week’s funnies first.

Here are the Honorable Mentions. I love them.

“They match him up beautifully.”

Of course. That’s their job. Get the right guys together.

“He lets it hang out.”

So  you can see the goods before you sample them. Or sample them before you go all the way. It’s a matter of how you look at it.

“Make sure he’s down and touched.”

That’s sweet. Makes sure the guy had a good time–or was used as much as possible. Which is good because that’s what he wanted.

“Ya gotta have a bad ball receiver.”

As opposed to a good one? Hmm…

Now onto those Quotes of the Week. We’ve made it to the playoffs and we’re almost to the big game. I’m telling you, these get better each week!

“He touched the ball 129 times.”

He’d rather touch it 130 times. Hee hee!

“Leaked all over the front line.”

Probably should pay more attention and be more conscientious about his decision. Some people might not want to be leaked on.

“3 deep zone.”

Piling it on!

“More receivers vertical.”

If they’re leaking all over the place, then I’d hope someone was vertical, but three? Fun times!

Now for the Doozy of the Week. Woooweee….

“Hasn’t had a tight end with this ability in a long time.”

And he’s thrilled about it. He can’t wait to try him out.

Thanks for reading and checking out my thoughts on the games. I’ve got release news and cover art to post this week, so stay tuned!!
