Monday Morning Armchair Quarterback ~ Week 16

The Bengals don’t play until tonight, but I wanted to make sure I was on time, so I’m posting these now. I’m excited because we’ve made it to the playoffs. Now if we could just WIN in said playoffs…then I’d be happy. But we’ll worry about that later. Right now is for having fun!

Now for those Honorable Mentions:

“Split the two tight ends.”

With what?

“One of my favorite guys to watch.”

Mine, too.

“He is their leader in the back end.”

We love our leader, oh yes we do.

“The ball is out.”

He’s ready to play, today!

Nice.

Now onto those Quotes of the Week. I love finding these and am still shocked the commentators actually say this stuff.

“Bangs that through.”

Through what? I thought the idea was just to bang…Hmm…

“Complete confusion on the back end.”

Now I don’t believe that. They know exactly what they are doing in the back end.

“Gonna sneak it in.”

That sounds terrible–unless that’s what they want.

“One hand under and sorta pancake it.”

What exactly are we pancaking? Sounds painful.

Now for the Doozy of the Week. Woooweee….

“Runs to the edge, but sometimes you’ve gotta just smack it up in there.”

I’d say easing it in there would be more fun, but sometimes smacking works, too. Smack it up in there… Oy…

Thanks for reading and checking out my thoughts on the games. I’ve got release news and cover art to post this week, so stay tuned!!
